Created by Irishman Tom Gallagher, this is a brand new project. The Diga Montsant is made from a blend of Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon typical of the region, from this single vineyard site that is farmed organically with the help of renowned Catalan winemaker, Toni Coca.
Tasting Note:
Expect bold strawberry and plum flavours that give way to cassis and blackcurrant. There is a nice amount of tannins on the palate making this a good value medium-bodied and well-balanced wine with a refreshing acidity. Only 2,400 bottles of this 2021 vintage have been produced.
