This Puligny-Montrachet "Les Grands Champs" comes from a plot of vines located on the hillside on clay-limestone soil beneficial to Chardonnay.
The Borgeot estate is located in the village of Remigny to the south of the Côte de Beaune. Founded in 1903, the estate is now managed by Laurent and Pascal Borgeot, 4th generation. The plots of Domaine Borgeot are spread over several wine-growing villages of the Côte de Beaune: Bouzeron, Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet.
Tasting Notes: This is an elegant Puligny-Montrachet, with beautiful floral aromas married with notes of pineapple and tangerine. The palate is rich and rounded, balanced by mouth-watering acidity and saltiness on the long finish.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs perfectly with shellfish, raw fish, charcuterie, canapes or roasted river fish. Marvellous as a glass by itself too.
